Terms of Service

Welcome to Hebrew Hero. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hebrew Hero mobile application and related websites (collectively, "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Hebrew Hero. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
2. Your account
To save your learning progress and access certain features, you create an account by providing an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at stayinthevision@gmail.com.
3. Free tier and Hebrew Hero Pro
Hebrew Hero offers a free tier (alphabet through niqqud lessons, the Alphabet Drill, Vowel Drill, the Gauntlet, and the placement test) that does not require payment. Hebrew Hero Pro unlocks the full curriculum, every game, and all of Year 2.
Hebrew Hero Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly through Google Play. The subscription includes a free trial period as displayed in the in-app purchase screen at the time of purchase. After the trial, you will be charged the displayed monthly price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through Google Play → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; refunds for partial periods are handled by Google Play according to their refund policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law.
- Access the Service through automated means (scrapers, bots) without our prior written permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, our servers, or our databases.
- Share your account credentials with others or use the Service on behalf of someone else without their consent.
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
5. Intellectual property
All content in the Service — including lesson text, illustrations, audio, the app design, and the Hebrew Hero brand — is the property of the Hebrew Hero developer and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the lesson content without our written permission.
Hebrew text drawn from the Hebrew Bible is in the public domain. Translations, glosses, and pedagogical explanations are original to Hebrew Hero except where otherwise noted.
6. User-generated content
Certain features (for example, sending challenges to friends) may allow you to share your scores or progress with other people. By using these features, you grant Hebrew Hero a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the Service for the purpose of operating the relevant feature.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the educational content is suitable for any particular purpose. While we make our best effort to ensure the accuracy of the Hebrew grammar, vocabulary, and lesson content, Hebrew Hero is not a substitute for formal instruction or scholarly resources.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hebrew Hero and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for Hebrew Hero Pro in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ten U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.
9. Account termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing us at stayinthevision@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your account access ends; data deletion is governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts located in Florida, U.S.A., and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
